About Us

We started working on the ideas that would turn into Skyence in the fall of 2011. At that time, the cloud storage gold rush was in full swing, with new startups literally launching every week, giving away gigabytes of free storage. We loved the value that cloud storage provided, from synchronization to collaboration, but we saw a big problem.

While users were quick to adopt cloud storage, businesses were left scrambling, trying to find solutions that help them keep control of the sudden flow of information from within the business to the cloud. Where it used to be easy to find files and information on a network share, or other internal systems, now there were literally hundreds of locations in the cloud.

Our software helps businesses and their employees better utilize information stored in the cloud by making it easy to find, share, protect and manage. We're passionate about the software we create and we hope it shows.
